Microcontroller Mini ROBOT

Materials :
4 fresh AA batteries, lego chassis, rubber bands
(provided) PIC16F628 microcontroller kit, PIC programmer cable, JAL/icprog software

Day 1-7

Objective:
TLW use 3D modeling software to design their robot
TLW explore microcontrollers and make a robot from scratch!
TLW use JAL to program robot behavior
TLW test their robot in a maze

* Day 1/2 - Use Anim8or or Truespace to design your mini robot
* Day 2/3 - Using spare Lego or K-nex or ? build the chassis
* Day 4 - Using the PIC16F628 kit build/test the "brain" board
* Day 5 - Using JAL write/compile a maze program, then upload/test & grade
* Day 6/7 - install whisker sensors and modify the program for obstacle avoidance
