Game ART

Many indie projects fail because the recruited artist is overworked and underappreciated.

Here are a few techniques that will increase your productivity, ease your work load, and help those who feel they are not that artistic.

One of the first things you should get used to doing is keeping an organized library of your sprites.

These can be scaled, rotated and flipped for reuse, making your productivity soar!

Using a character maker will allow you to pick and choose an immense variety of options for "original" character sprites

Create a new layer and trace over another reference sprite,  then remove the original layer!

Use photo references or pose people or things in a photo then run it through filters!
